I am a Certified Wellness Specialist and Certified Equine Massage Therapist in practice since attaining my first certification 2001. Since then I have acquired more than 1000 hours of training in the healing arts. In 2008 I was ordained by the Universal Life Church and officiate marriages as well as other ceremonies. In 2010, I was certified by the American College of Wellness as a Certified Wellness Specialist.
I was led to founding Wind Rider Therapies through my own healing journey, the Cherokee heritage from my Greatgrandmother Cleo, and through learning and practicing a Blackfoot way of spirituality from my many friends in Alberta, Canada and around the United States. My work has been featured in the “Santa Cruz Sentinel.” I speak at community organizations and volunteer my services to selected community organizations. I am also the core instructor for the 250-hour Certified Equine Bodyworker Specialist training offered by Spirit of the Horse Center.
I am also known as Looking Badger, a name gifted to me by an elder from California’s Central Coast.
